Kia ora everyone, I'm Maddie Mcasey
I'm stoked to share some exciting news with you all. I'm a 20-year-old from Auckland, and I can't believe that I'm off to Thailand for the International Canoe Federation (ICF) World Championships!

I'll be representing Aotearoa in the Open Women's Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) category, taking part in the intense 200-meter sprint and technical race. Gonna be facing some fierce competition from the some of the world's best female paddle boarders, but I'm up for the challenge.

The championship runs from the 15th to the 19th of November, and I'm absolutely amped to be a part of it. But, as you can imagine, this journey requires some financial support. My goal is to raise money to cover my participation, flights, and expenses.
